Big Sapphire Bonus Ending Soon! 75,000 Points for Chase Sapphire Reserve and Preferred 

Chase Bank is currently offering a whopping 75,000 ($750) bonus points to new recipients of the Chase Sapphire Preferred or the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Both cards offer a variety of travel-related point bonuses and complimentary access to services like DashPass and Instacart+. This bonus is ending soon! Chase has announced it will end on June 13th at 1 p.m. EST.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred has a $95 annual fee, and additional authorized users are not charged an additional $75, while the Reserve card has a $550 annual fee and charges $75 for each additional authorized user. 

How to Get the Bonus

New Chase Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve card holders will have to spend $4,000 in the first three months after opening their account to qualify for the 75,000 bonus points.  

Both cards typically have a sign-on bonus of only 60,000 points, so this limited-time offer is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a new travel card to earn an extra 25% bonus points. 

Previous and current holders of either Sapphire card do not qualify for this sign-on bonus, but they can earn 10,000 bonus points for every referral that is approved and receives a Sapphire card. If you haven't had the card for 48 months you may qualify as long as you do not have either of the Sapphire cards.

Best Way To Redeem Chase Points for Travel

Points are typically valued at one cent each, but Sapphire cardholders are entitled to more value for each of their points if they spend them directly on the Chase Travel platform. Sapphire Preferred holders get to redeem their points for an additional 25% more value, equal to 1.25 cents each, for travel expenses booked on Chase Travel, and holders of the Sapphire Reserve are eligible to earn 50% more value for each point utilized on the platform.

Holders can also choose to send their points to an account associated with one of the Chase Ultimate Rewards program’s 14 transfer partners. 11 out of the 14 partners are associated with airlines, including both international and domestic options. In comparison, the remaining three partners are notable hotel chains IHG, Marriott, and Hyatt. Depending on how you utilize your points and with which transfer partner, you can earn up to 2-3 cents for each point.
